    Duration of ownership: 8 Days

    Strengths: Cheap

    Weaknesses:Nasty

Overall Evaluation: I can confirm the other comments about the quality of the included software and the reliability of the unit.I bought this device only 8 days ago and it started working unreliably. I found that it was overheating, almost burning my hand. And it stopped finding our access point, in fact repeated scans using the included software found (other) access points at random. The included software doesn't always start when the adapter is plugged in. If the windows native software starts, it says the device is working when it is not. An unplug and replug usually fixes it.Basically it's just a cheap, nasty device. I'm taking Netgear off my purchase list - at least for Wifi adapters.

    Duration of ownership: 2 Months

Strengths: when it connects it works well

    Weaknesses:Does not connect every time

Overall Evaluation: Upon initial installation it took me a few minutes to get it going. It seemed to be okay for a week or two but then it stopped working. Light is blinking and everything is plugged in as it should be but the connection is sporadic at best. I have not been able to find a solution for this.

    Duration of ownership: 1 Months

Strengths: Solid Performer: Works well and fast most of the time.

    Weaknesses:Installation not always easy

Overall Evaluation: Their setup wizard caused crashes and problems. So I ended up not using it and setting up manually. If this happens to you, you have to know how do it manually - their documentation is of no help. Occasionally goes to never-never land and have to disconnect and reconnect USB to get it to work. Not a big deal. I recommend this product.

    Duration of ownership: 3 Months

Strengths: Easy to use software, excellent sensitivity

Weaknesses:occassionally fails to recover when my computer comes out of standby

Overall Evaluation: Aside from the occasional and annoying failures when my computer comes out of standby (I have had similar problems with other wireless adapters), this is a great product. Combined with a Netgear Rangemax MIMO wireless router, I consistantly get connectivity at from 24 Mbps up to 54 Mbps in a location where my older 811.11g equipment used to struggle to maintain 12 Mbps. Excellent product, and highly recommended.
