This space-saving device does the work of four standalone machines, combining powerful printing, copying, scanning and faxing. Fast color at up to 20ppm lets your entire workgroup enjoy the benefits of color without slowing down. With the Phaser 6180MFP, you get black-and-white prints at up to a quick 31ppm regardless of your job's size or complexity, thanks to a 400 MHz processor and 348 MB of memory (expandable to 1,408 MB). A scan speed of up to 7 color or 20 black-and-white scans per minute lets you go quickly from paper to digital. Convenient Scan to Server, Scan to Computer Application, and Scan to Email functions add versatility. Express Scan Manager lets you easily set up default parameters- like image type, scan resolution, paper size, and output destination- for faster, simplified scanning. Download email addresses directly to the device-based Address Book Editor for easy front-panel access when sending scans. Fax features include a junk fax barrier, secure receive, speed dials, group dials, and color faxing.

Xerox's Phaser 6180MFP closely resembles the Dell Multifunction Color Laser Printer 3115cn, but it has a better overall design, faster text printing, and better-looking (though slower) graphics printing. Unfortunately, it also costs more to buy and maintain.
